Scenic Houston's 20th annual dinner celebratory logo
Overview
Scenic Houston is a non-profit organization that works towards the beautification of Houston and its greenspaces. In 2019, they had the opportunity to create something special for the 20th anniversary of their Annual Gala, so they reached out to me to design a celebratory logo for their milestone event.
The challenge was to create a unique commemorative logo that was consistent with their branding, incorporated the dedication to their Houston-based initiatives, and celebrated the anniversary.
The Solution
Several designs were ideated but the final design adopted a "20" with the Houston skyline in the 0. Incorporating the Houston skyline referenced their initiatives and dedication to the city. Using tints and shades of the core branding colors and integrating the "swoop" kept to their visual identity.
