Over the last few years, the workplace has changed from primarily in-person, to many jobs being fully remote or a hybrid structure. Many of these changes happened quickly, and technology and adaptations for work were made after work from home initially began. For this project, our team researched several different companies with remote and hybrid work practices, and interviewed both people managers and employees to get a better understanding of pain points in remote and hybrid work. We developed a solution for hybrid workers that accommodated both in-office and remote work practices, assisted people managers in their duties, and incorporated interactive collaboration tools that connect employees no matter where they are working.
HyLife is a digital communication and collaboration application that unifies and improves all existing tools required for hybrid working.
There is an opportunity to develop a unified digital platform that would bring together colleagues and mirror the physical work environment. HyLife improves communication and collaboration tools by adding distinctive features that allow users to see the location status and availability of other team members.
