Lifecycle of a mortgage loan

The original request was to create an intranet‑based informational resource accessible to anyone in the organization. The goal was to provide standardized, organization‑wide knowledge about the loan process and the support network that surrounds it.

The stakeholders - primarily the executive team - needed a visual that clearly illustrated the interconnectedness of departments, procedures, and loan stages. Throughout the discussions, one word kept surfacing: ecosystem.

To bring that idea to life, I designed visuals that mapped a clear pathway of the loan, establishing it as the central hub from which each support area branched. This structure made the connectivity intuitive and easy to navigate. 

Because the resource needed to be easily accessible, I developed an interactive PDF using Adobe InDesign’s digital publishing tools. This allowed for buttons, destinations, and multistate objects when viewed online, while still preserving interactivity in a downloadable format. I also created a Storyline 360 course version to integrate into the New Hire Onboarding curriculum. 

While each delivery method includes subtle design adjustments, the core knowledge remains consistent. The learning experience can be embedded on the intranet, taken as a course in the LMS, or downloaded for personal use.
